What it is
The fit-out is the selling point: a red-lit room with a small stage and soft seating, built to feel more like a lounge than the usual go-go box. It opened with a beachwear theme — dancers in swimwear rather than the full-nudity end of the market — which is where the name comes from.
It’s small. Downstairs holds around thirty people, so on a busy night it fills fast and the atmosphere depends heavily on who’s in the room.

The read
Bad Beach has two things going for it: a central spot on the alley and a newer, better-finished room than most of its neighbours. Being part of the Crazy House group also means it’s run by people who know the strip. Against that, a small room lives or dies on its line-up, and that changes week to week.
