Nana Plaza sits on Sukhumvit Soi 4, two minutes from Nana BTS. The sois either side of it — 2, 3, 4, 8 and 11 — hold the densest cluster of guest-friendly rooms in Bangkok, which is why most first-timers end up here. The whole point of staying in this pocket is that the walk home is short enough to be irrelevant.
This is an area page under our main guide to guest-friendly hotels in Bangkok — start there for what “guest-friendly” means, how joiner fees work, and how to check a policy before you pay.
The hotels
| Hotel | Where it is | Tier |
|---|---|---|
| Aspen Suites Hotel Sukhumvit 2 — check prices → | 65/1 Sukhumvit Soi 2 — one soi west of the plaza | Mid |
| Citrus Sukhumvit 11 — check prices → | 26 Sukhumvit Soi 11 — the bar soi itself | Budget–Mid |
| Pipa Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 (ex-Grand President) — check prices → | 16 Sukhumvit Soi 11 — renovated and rebranded | Mid |
| The Landmark Bangkok — check prices → | 138 Sukhumvit Road — between Soi 4 and Soi 6 | Upper |
We list these for location and tier. We have not independently confirmed a guest policy at any of them — that belongs in a review with a date on it, not a table. Confirm with the hotel when you book.
Two Nana regulars are missing from that table on purpose. The Nana Hotel itself — 4 Sukhumvit Soi 4, directly beside the plaza gate — and the Majestic Grande on Soi 2 are both open and both well known, but neither is listed on Booking.com. Search Booking for “Nana Hotel” and you get a similarly-named property out at Makkasan, several kilometres away, which is not the hotel anyone means. Check Agoda or Hotels.com for those two instead.
The trade-off
Soi 4 itself is loud until late and the cheapest rooms right by the gate are tired. Soi 11 is a different night out — cocktail bars and clubs rather than go-gos — so if you want the plaza and nothing else, staying on 11 adds a ten-minute walk each way.
Frequently Asked Questions
How far is Sukhumvit Soi 11 from Nana Plaza?
Both sit off the same stretch of Sukhumvit Road, a few minutes apart on foot via the main road or the BTS walkway.
Is Nana or Asok better for a first trip?
Nana, if go-go bars are the priority — the density is higher and the walk shorter. Asok suits you better if you want a quieter, more business-grade room and do not mind a short taxi or one BTS stop.
